A modern day visionary, Sean Leon's talent has earned him international praise, acclaim, and space, working alongside globally-renowned artists including but not limited to; Brandy, Pharrell Williams, Daniel Caesar, Justin Bieber and Kanye West.
A distinctive voice, Sean’s perspective challenges widespread conceptions of what it means to be an artist aware of their humanity, and fragility. Finding inspiration within a pool of genres, experiences of love, fatherhood, and loss, his creative approach, much like his artistic spirit, is fearless and without boundaries.
This in partnership with his cult-like following has established him as a pillar of his city’s underground music scene.
Since independently releasing, “Sean Leon (The Death of)”, Leon set his sights on broadening his international presence. In 2019, he embarked on an international tour performing, creative directing, and songwriting alongside Daniel Caesar.
While abroad, Leon quickly caught the eye of international icons, including Kanye West, who came to feature his placements on his 2019, Grammy award winning studio album, "Jesus is King".
His latest venture, PUPIL, is a production and cultural organization that creates success stories through ethical development, education, design, and distribution, focusing primarily on amplifying and empowering Black voices, Black stories, and Black lives.
